The iSIM 2026 was held in Manchester on 12–13 April 2026 as a dedicated two-day satellite event to Intermag 2026. The symposium brought together more than 120 attendees from industry and academia to explore applied magnetism and translate fundamental research into commercial applications for IoT, 5G networks, smart devices, and biomedical systems. The comprehensive technical program comprised 22 invited talks and an interactive poster session covering sensor integration (TMR, magnetoelectric, GMI), power supply on-chip/in-package, magnetoelectronics, quantum sensing, and AI-driven material discovery.
A key highlight of iSIM 2026 was the strong industry participation, with a significant proportion of presenters and attendees representing major sensor manufacturers and specialized technology firms. This fostered vibrant discussions bridging fundamental physics and commercial manufacturing.
